I'm primarily a luthier (it means I build fretted instruments) and inlay artist who occasionally works in graphic arts as well. Have been a professional musician most of my life, done quite a bit of studio work, and have written various articles on musical instrument collecting, repairs, restoration, and etcetera for national publications since the mid-1970s.
I work mostly in exotic hardwoods and mother of pearl, but have used silver, gold, and precious stones on occasion, too.
Much of my work was done some time ago on commission, and as such it was recorded on film rather than electrons, but I'll probably be scanning some of those old-fashioned paper photographs and posting them up here as well sooner or later.
